Omaha, Nebraska – RiverFront Omaha has announced it will host the Lincoln Crossroads Music Festival, featuring a captivating performance by the renowned New York Philharmonic Orchestra.
Taking place at the picturesque Gene Leahy Mall on August 4th at 7:30 p.m., the music festival promises a delightful evening of harmonious melodies. What’s more, the festivities continue with two additional days of performances, workshops, jam sessions, and more in the vibrant city of Lincoln on August 5th and 6th.
This eagerly anticipated event showcases an eclectic mix of local and international artists, including the talented Tabla master and esteemed Guggenheim Fellow, Sandeep Das, the captivating Armenian folk/jazz ensemble Authentic Light Orchestra, the world premiere of the double concerto by Azmeh and Chaker, and a host of other exceptional musicians.
With the festival’s expansion to Omaha, an exciting rebranding has taken place. The event will now be known as the “Nebraska Crossroads Music Festival,” as revealed in a press release by the festival organizers.
Erik Higgins, the festival’s esteemed artistic director, expressed his enthusiasm about the rebranding and its aim to establish the festival as the premier summer music event across the plains. “The rebranding of the festival to encompass the rest of the state and renaming it to the Nebraska Crossroads Music Festival is a part of the ongoing effort to make it the premiere summer music event in the plains,” stated Higgins.

- Two-day pass: $80 for adults, $32 for students, and $20 for children ages 6-12.
- Saturday pass: $50 for adults, $25 for students, and $12.50 for children ages 6-12.
- Sunday pass: $40 for adults, $20 for students, and $10 for children ages 6-12.
- Children under the age of 5 can attend for free.
In addition to the paid performances, the festival also offers complimentary storytelling sessions, roundtable discussions, jam sessions, and a delightful baby concert for attendees to enjoy.
