Omaha, Nebraska – The Omaha Police Department has reported the arrest of two individuals, Wayne Rolling, aged 29, and Keith Hill, aged 27, who are believed to be involved in a series of robberies that took place from July 15 through to early Friday morning.
The latest incident occurred on Friday morning, just before 6:30 a.m., at a Scooter’s outlet situated on 72nd Street. Law enforcement officers were called to the scene following a report of a robbery. After investigation, it was found that the suspects involved in the Scooter’s incident matched the description of those involved in an earlier robbery at the Comfort Suites on Bedford Avenue, which transpired around 5:45 a.m. on the same day.
As the investigation unfolded, authorities managed to locate and apprehend Rolling and Hill. The two are now under scrutiny for their potential involvement in the following robberies:
- July 15: NP Mart at 4229 N 60th Street (Case AT14146)
- July 25: NP Mart at 5608 Ames Avenue (Case AT16791)
- July 25: La Quinta at 3333 N 104th Street (Case AT16883)
- July 26: Family Dollar at 2930 Sprague Street (Case AT17071)
- July 26: Family Dollar at 2601 N 16th Street (Case AT17086)
- July 28: Comfort Suites at 10503 Bedford Avenue (Case AT17532)
- July 28: Scooter’s at 4040 N 72nd Street (Case AT17529)
Following their arrest, Rolling has been held on suspicion of seven counts each of robbery and use of a weapon to commit a felony, in addition to charges of possession of a firearm by a felon, theft by receiving, and auto theft.
Hill, meanwhile, faces potential charges including seven counts each of robbery and use of a weapon to commit a felony, along with allegations of being a felon in possession of a firearm and theft by receiving.
