HDR welcomes John Henderson as new CEO

Omaha, Nebraska – Omaha-based architecture and engineering firm HDR has announced a significant leadership change, with John Henderson taking the helm as the new CEO.

Founded in 1917 as Henningson Engineering Co., HDR has established itself as a prominent player in the architecture and engineering industries. The recent appointment of John Henderson marks a new chapter in the company’s leadership. Henderson, who succeeds Eric Keen as CEO, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Keen will continue to contribute to the company as the chairman of the board of directors.

In their official release, HDR highlighted Henderson as the ninth CEO in the company’s storied history. His background is particularly distinguished, having led significant programs for the U.S. Department of Defense and at HDR. Prior to this appointment, Henderson served as the President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of HDR.

Accompanying this leadership transition, Neil Graff has been appointed as the new President and COO, succeeding Henderson. Graff previously held the position of HDR’s director of U.S. and North American operations, showcasing his extensive experience within the company.
