Arrest made in Omaha stabbing case Near Parkview Drive

Omaha, Nebraska – A single individual has been apprehended in connection with a stabbing incident that took place on Wednesday night in the vicinity of Parkview Drive.

As per the Omaha Police Department (OPD), law enforcement officers detained a 15-year-old male adolescent on charges of second-degree felony assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony following the cutting incident.

The OPD responded to the distress call at approximately 7:51 p.m. and were informed that the victim had been transported to Methodist Hospital by a private vehicle.

Upon speaking with the victim, identified as Gabriel Sobeski, officers ascertained that the incident occurred at the park on Parkview, where the suspect allegedly inflicted a cut on him for reasons yet unknown.

Subsequently, officers successfully located the suspect in the vicinity of 154th and Pratt and took him into custody. The suspect has since been booked at the Douglas County Youth Center.
