27-year-old man identified as victim in Omaha shooting

Omaha, Nebraska – Authorities in Omaha have released the identity of an individual who was the unfortunate victim of a fatal incident early on Thursday morning near 17th and S Street.

The Omaha Police Department (OPD) reported that around 2:44 a.m. on Thursday, they responded to a call concerning a shooting incident in the vicinity of 17th and S Street.

Upon arrival, officers found a male victim, who was subsequently transported by the Omaha Fire Department to the University of Nebraska Medical Center. It was at the medical facility that the victim, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries, as reported by the police.

The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Adrrell Taylor, a resident of Omaha.

The investigation is still in progress.
